The Montessori Movable Alphabet from Criações Encantadas was developed to support the introduction of letters in preschool , a fundamental value in the Montessori methodology and in preparing for reading and writing. Entirely in lowercase letters (PT-PT) , it follows the phonetic path used by teachers, helping children recognize sounds, form words, and explore language freely and autonomously.

Each letter is laser-cut from 4mm MDF and presented in a varnished wooden box with individual laser-engraved compartments, encouraging organization and self-correction — two essential pillars of the method.

With vowels in blue and consonants in red , the material follows the traditional Montessori code , facilitating the association of sounds and the distinction between types of letters.
